The Chatham County Clerk of Superior Court Clerk's office is proud to announce mandatory UCC eFiling becomes effective January 1, 2022.

In an effort to provide ease and convenience, the Chatham County Clerk of Superior Court Clerk's office, in conjunction with the Georgia Superior Court Clerks' Cooperative Authority, has developed an online electronic filing portal. Go to, register and begin filing electronically.

E-Recording Real Estate Documents

Chatham County offers e-Recording through various vendors. This allows customers to file and record documents with the Superior Court Clerk's office electronically and within minutes. You can now e-Record your real estate documents using any of the following vendors:


Effective January 1, 2017, all plats filed in Georgia must be filed electronically (OCGA 15-6-67). In order to efile plat documents in Georgia you must register online. Any questions should be addressed to GSCCCA at (800) 304-5174.
